Sponsorship Licence Fee: This is the government charge for obtaining or renewing your Sponsorship Licence. The cost depends on your business size: 

Small or Charitable Sponsor: £1,500 for an initial application, £1,000 for renewal. 

Medium or Large Sponsor: £5,000 for an initial application, £4,000 for renewal. 

CoS Assignment Fee: Each CoS you issue to an individual incurs a separate fee: 

  • Worker (except International Sportsperson visa): £239. 
  • Temporary Worker: £25. 
  • International Sportsperson (assigned for more than 12 months): £239. 

*Costs as at 05/02/2024. 

Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): This mandatory fee applies to most visa applicants sponsored by your business. The amount varies based on the applicant’s visa category and duration of stay. 

Visa Application Fee: The applicant directly pays this fee to the Home Office for their individual visa application.
